One of the top Italian Restaurants in state! Excellent food and service. Owners keeping a watchful eye on customers happiness. Enjoyed my shrimp dish with salad and pasta, heavenly meal!

Beautiful place with great itailian food and the pizza is top tier. The service is amazing waiters are very diligent, kind and attentive. This is one of the best establishments in Bayonne.

Amazing food! The calamari and mussels appetizers are a most have... the Cesar salad was ok give the dressing is kind of acid I'll give it a 7/10 great portion!! The star of the show was this seafood pasta I don't remember the name but it usually comes in red sauce which is great to but this time I asked to switch the sauce and 10/10

Long night, and guess who was open? Cafe Bello! This restaurant is a staple in Bayonne, NJ. We love coming here. We get the best service here. Elijah, our server is always attentive. He knows our drinks by heart. We ordered lamb chops and shrimp and scallops with spinach over risotto. We both enjoyed our meals. Great old-time music, lighting is good. Everyone who works here makes this place great!

Cafe Bello has been consistently excellent since I first started going there as a kid in the 90s. I've eaten there probably close to 50 times and I've never had a bad bite of food. Traditional Italian dishes like your pasta, parmigiana, saltimbocca, etc., are excellent. They really shine with the rotating fish specials and their fresh pastas. Potentially hot take: they make the best pizza in Bayonne. 14" pies that an ambitious person could easily take down in a sitting are made in front of your face at the bar, with excellent ingredients and a thin crust that finds that magic combo of chewy and crispy. The alla vodka with shrimp is in my top 3 favorite pizzas ever, anywhere. Service is usually on point and prices are appropriate. The general volume is never too much and they let the natural hum of the crowd be the background for the dining experience. It's Jersey, so someone might be laughin' a bit too loud, but that never hurt no one.

5 stars for the pizza! Did not get pictures of the pepperoni or 5 cheese but both were just as good as the ones pictured. I personally enjoyed the prosciutto pizza. I ordered the veal and it was okay. This is my go to meal at Italian places and I was slightly disappointed, it was tender but incredibly salty. I would recommend them for pizza and dessert as those options were all very good.

Food in this place never disappoints, it's simply so good , well seasoned and always served hot . Ambiance is very welcoming Service is good but could improve a little , sometimes is a slow , but all in all it's a great place to enjoy authentic Italian food

First time visiting. Great small restaurant. Seems like most of the customers were regulars. Staff was friendly - sometimes slow with clearing plates and the food took awhile but the service was pleasant. Tried the octopus and artichoke on their specials menu. It was really good. Super expensive for such a small appetizer though. Over $20. We ordered their pizza. My husband had the prosciutto and arugula pie and I had a pepperoni pie. It was good! Crust was crispy. Pie is definitely shareable. We shared the pizza and still had some leftover. Would definitely return to try other items on the menu. Parking is a pain here. You will definitely be circling around to find a spot. If you don't live too far, would definitely recommend walking.
